Short walk from the U4 Stadtpark Station: 10 min walk from the U4/U1 Karlsplatz Station, or take the 4A bus.
From the tram and bus stops at Schwarzenbergplatz, accessed by D, 2 & 71 trams and 3A & 4A buses. The 4a bus stop is at Hotel Am Konzerthaus.
Konzerthaus tickets entitle patrons to free use of the public transport system in Vienna if marked «gilt als Fahrschein in Wien». Within the VOR Zone 100 the ticket is valid 2 hours before and up to 6 hours after the start of the performance.

The nearest taxi stands are at the Hotel Intercontinental in the Johannesgasse and at Hotel Am Konzerthaus on the Heumarkt.

2 UG (2nd basement) – the toilet facilities at the Berio Hall;
EG (ground floor) – in the vestibule near the lifts for the Great Hall;
ZG (mezzanine) – the toilet facilities for the Schubert Hall, near the lifts for the Great Hall;
1 OG (level 1) – on the right rear side of the parterre level, near the lifts for the Great Hall.
The adaptation and equipping of the Wiener Konzerthaus to match the needs of the disabled was supported by the AUVA (Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt) which, as the Austrian Social Insurance Organization for Occupational Risks, promotes the integration of the handicapped into society.

Smoking is permitted in the «Rauchergang» at the dress circle (Galerie) level of the Great Hall.
There are cloakrooms in the Grand Foyer and the Mozart Hall Foyer only (none at the auditorium levels). The standard charge per person is €1.10.

To ensure all concert goers' safety attention is drawn to paras 4(9) and 12(2) of the Viennese Law relating to places of entertainment (Wiener Veranstaltungsstättengesetz) and to the Wiener Konzerthaus rules: coats, hats, bags, shoes, umbrellas, walking sticks and related items must be left in a cloakroom.
Persons with disabilities may keep their mobility aids and place them immediately adjoining their seats as long as they are placed so as not to obstruct the aisles.
Any coats and other overwear taken into the auditorium may not be taken off, i.e. must continue to be worn. No damp or wet overwear may be taken into the auditorium in view of the risk of damage to the seating and furnishings.
For reasons of safety, please note that, even for children's events, no prams, pushchairs or similar items are permitted in the auditorium.

The BIP-Garage (access via Am Heumarkt 39) offers discounted parking for a stay not exceeding 6 hours between the hours of 00:00 and 24:00. Payment must be made immediately after entry at the garage ticket office: on presenting the concert ticket, a special exit ticket will be provided on payment of €6.00. Similar exit tickets may be obtained for €6.00 at the Konzerthaus Box Office or at the porters' lodge.
Short-stay parking
Short-stay parking is in force generally throughout the 1st and 3rd Districts (Kurzparkzonen) from Mondays to Fridays, for up to 2 hours between the hours of 09:00 and 22:00. However, please check the signs displayed where you park in case special conditions apply.
