About
Pop icon Anastacia celebrates 25 years of “Not That Kind” with one show in Vienna
With one of the most powerful voices in modern music and her unmistakably unique timbre, pop icon Anastacia has been one of the most successful international pop stars since the early 2000s. While major success in her home country, the United States, eluded her, she sold over 50 million records worldwide and celebrated multi-platinum hits such as “I’m Outta Love,” “Paid My Dues,” and “Left Outside Alone.” To date, the singer has received more than 225 awards across 31 countries and achieved No. 1 hits in 19 nations. Her eight studio albums have earned numerous accolades, including the World Music Award, MTV EMA, multiple ECHOs, a Goldene Kamera, a Bambi, the Women’s World Award, and many more. In 2025, Anastacia’s iconic debut album “Not That Kind” celebrates its 25th anniversary — a milestone she’ll honor with a major tour across the UK and Europe. Bringing her biggest hits and special live moments to the stage, Anastacia’s #NTK26 Tour will visit Hannover, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Berlin in fall 2026, as well as make a stop in Vienna.
The German-speaking region has played a particularly important role in Anastacia’s career ever since the release of her debut album “Not That Kind” in 2000. The album entered the charts at No. 2 in Germany and No. 3 in Austria, remaining in both countries for over 80 weeks. In 2001, “Freak of Nature” became her first No. 1 album in Germany, narrowly missing the top spot in Austria. Her self-titled third album “Anastacia” (2004) reached No. 1 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK, achieving multi-platinum status in all four countries. At the height of her career, Anastacia was undeniably one of the most powerful voices in pop — and, together with Eros Ramazzotti, she scored her first German No. 1 single with the duet “I Belong To You (Il Ritmo Della Passione).” After a short hiatus, she returned in 2008 with “Heavy Rotation.” The 2010s saw the release of “It’s a Man’s World” (2012), “Resurrection” (2014), and “Evolution” (2017). Following her “I’m Outta Lockdown – The 22nd Anniversary Tour”, celebrating 22 years of her breakthrough hit “I’m Outta Love”, Anastacia opened the next chapter of her career with “Our Songs” (2023) — a cover album paying tribute to German artists such as Tokio Hotel, Unheilig, Die Toten Hosen, Scorpions, and Udo Lindenberg. The record reached No. 2 on the German album charts and entered the Top 5 in Austria and Switzerland — marking her highest chart debut in two decades and reaffirming the special bond Anastacia shares with her German-speaking fans.
